POCO C++ Libraries

The POCO C++ Libraries are licensed under the Boost license, an Open Source license. This makes the POCO C++ Libraries free for both Open Source and commercial applications, no strings attached.

POCO Platform

The POCO Platform libraries and tools are licensed under the Applied Informatics End-User Source Code License Agreement. Under this license, you receive the complete source code for all the libraries and tools you purchase a license for. You are free to use the source code in as many projects and on as many platforms as you like, but you are not allowed to re-license the source code to third parties.

The Best of Open Source and Commercial

• You get the complete source code, project files and documentation.
• Modify the sources as you like.
• Use the licensed source code on as many platforms and in as many products or projects you want, for as long as you want.
• Freely distribute software (binaries) and devices built with the POCO Platform.
• There are no additional runtime fees or royalties.
• If you need to redistribute the POCO Platform sources, we offer a separate redistribution license agreement. Please contact us for details.
