  • The latest release is 2016.2.
  • Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 or 2015 is required on Windows. The free Visual Studio 2013 Express for Windows Desktop works as well. Only 32-bit builds are provided in the evaluation version. The full release supports 64-bit builds, as well as other Visual Studio versions (2008, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2015).
  • Linux downloads will also work with other Linux distributions, provided a compatible GCC (for compiling the samples) and C++ standard library are available.
  • The free version contains the following packages: Foundation, XML, JSON, Util, Net, Data (SQLite only), Zip (from the open source POCO C++ Libraries), Fast Infoset, Open Service Platform, Remoting, Universal Plug and Play and DNSSD. The following packages are not part of the evaluation: NetSSL and Crypto on Windows, Data/MySQL and Data/ODBC (from the open source POCO C++ Libraries) and some OSP services.
